Hey Guys! My name is Nick Wallace. I am super excited to be joining the Ovox team as a personal trainer.

 

Fitness has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I’ve been involved in contact sports such as football and rugby. I was always very competitive and loved the idea of constant improvement. This passion and desire for constant improvement led me to the gym. Improving my performance in the gym helped me become a 2x Division II All-American Rugby player. While the gym not only did wonders for increasing my athleticism, strength, and power, this wasn’t even the best part. I also started to experience significant mental health benefits from the gym. I was always a shy, less confident kid growing up, and the gym allowed me to be able to change that. It began to increase my self-confidence, improve my mood, increase my energy levels, enhance my mental well-being, and improve my cognitive function. That is when I really started to fall in love with the process. This led me to study Exercise Physiology at William Paterson University and become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. As my athletic career came to an end, I started to transition from performance enhancement to bodybuilding style training for purely aesthetics. Exercise is medicine, and I want to be able to show you the many ways the gym can help change your life, just like it changed mine.
