Assisted Table Stretching

Assisted Table stretching with Paul.

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.

When I stretch you, it is called Assisted Stretching.  Assisted stretching can take place on a matt on the floor or on a stretching table.  Assisted stretching offers benefits that differ from unassisted stretching that you can do on your own. When I stretch you, it allows me to targeted areas by putting your limbs in certain angels and applying slight pressure which ensures you are getting the proper range of motion that your body needs. These angles and positioning are very difficult to do unassisted.   Stretching programs are tailored to individuals and their goals.
